2004年云南国际工业博览会组委会、2004年云南矿业国际展览会组委会和2004昆明国际电力能源工业博览会组委会共同承办的“2004年云南国际工业博览会”、“2004年云南矿业国际展览会”与“2004昆明国际电力能源工业博览会”（简称“PFI2004”）定于2004年10月21日--24日在中国昆明国际贸易中心举行，PFI2004得到了中国工业经济联合会与法国欧－中经济合作组织的鼎立支持。
Co-undertaken by Yunnan International Industry Exposition 2004 Organizer、Yunnan International Mining Exhibition 2004 Organizer and Kunming International Power & Energy Sources Industry Expo 2004 Organizer ("PEI 2004" for shorter form), will be held at Kunming International Trade Center on October 21-24 in 2004, and the China Federation of Industrial Economics and Europe-China Economic Cooperation Organization of France will give energetic support to 2004.
加快工业发展是发展中国家促进地区经济发展的必然要求。党的十六大报告指出：在本世纪头几年是全面建设小康社会的新阶段，经济建设的重要任务是基本实现工业化，大力推进信息化，加快建设现代化。云南工业要以新的发展思路和模式，即走新型工业化的道路，以减少发展的瓶颈约束，提高产业效率，实现可持续发展。从现在起到2020年底，是云南经济发展的重要时期，要实现人均国内生产总值3000美元，使较多贫困人口与全省人民同步实现小康这项光荣而艰巨的任务，应加快工业化进程，走新型工业化道路。
Accelerating the industry development is the necessary requirement for the regional economy development promotion in the developing countries. It is said in the Repot to the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China that the first several years of this century is the new phase of building a well-off society in an all-round way, and the main task for economic development is to basically accomplish industrialization, to energetically apply Information Technology, and to accelerate modernization. The industry of Yunnan should adopt the new development thought and model, namely, to take a new road to industrialization and decrease the bottleneck constrain of development, improve the industry efficiency and realize the sustainable development. From now on to the end of 2020 is an important development period for Yunnan economy, and we should accelerate the course of industrialization and take a new road to industrialization, so that we can realize the arduous task of making the per-capita GDP reach to US $3000, and let the poverty-stricken people and the people in Yunnan Province become well-off.
按照新思路推进云南的工业化，走新型工业化道路，就须把工业、农业和服务业的发展协调起来，使工业发展成推动农业、服务业发展的基础和推动力；把速度、质量、效益结合起来，使云南工业真正具有强大的竞争力；把工业生产力的提高和消费需求能力的提高结合起来，使工业发展和消费需求变化相互促进；把技术进步、提高效率和充分就业协调起来，使更多的人能够分享工业化的成果和利益，把当前发展和未来发展衔接起来，尊重自然规律和经济发展规律，走文明发展之路，实现人与自然的和谐，实现可持续发展。
According to the new thought, in order to push the industrialization of Yunnan and take a new road to industrialization, we should coordinate the development of industry, agriculture and service industry, and develop industry into the base and driving force of agriculture and service industry; integrate speed, quality and efficiency, and truly make the industry of Yunnan to have a strong competitive force; integrate the enhancement of industrial production force and the capacity of consuming demand, and mutually promote the industry development and the change of consuming demand; coordinate the technology progress, efficiency increase, and full employment, and let more people share the fruit and benefit of industrialization; join the current development and the future development, respect the law of nature and the law of economic development, take a road of civilized development, realize the harmonious development of man and nature, and realize the sustainable development.

（五）科技创新成果大区 Sic-tech Innovation Achievements Zones
1、图片区：企业、政府部门的投资合作项目信息（由企业申请，组委会统一采用高清晰720DPI彩喷制作，并在各大区内的公共走道位置布置展板，同时印刷成《PFI2004投融资合作项目汇总》向广大客商及参会政府部门派送。收费标准详见后续！）
Picture Zone: Information of investment cooperation projects of enterprises and governments (applied by enterprises and elected by the organizing committee, all the pictures will be made into high-resolution color pictures of 720DPI and posted on exhibition boards located at public passage ways in each major zones, printed into the "PFI2004 Investment and Financing Cooperation Projects" and distributed to all traders and participating governments. （六）中心展 Central Exhibition Zone:
1、PFI2004整体形象展区及中心洽谈区；

2、原则上不同意企业参展，但属海内外大型行业企业可酌情考虑安排。
Enterprises are not allowed to exhibit in this zone, however, large-scale industry-leading domestic or overseas enterprises may be allowed to exhibit provided the situation permits.
（七）城市基建大区展览范围 Exhibition Coverage of City Infrastructure Zones:
1、城市运营商：房产开发商、投资商、工程建筑施工单位、金融机构等。
City Operators: real estate developers, investors, engineering construction undertakers, financial institutions, etc.
2、公共交通：双层公交巴士、全承载式公交客车、地铁化公交车、观光敞篷公交车，超长大容量公交巴士、低地板公交客车、高档公交客车、环保公交车及专用于公交客车的空调、噪声控制系统等车辆配件及其它专用设备。
Public Transportation: Double deck bus, fully integral bus, sightseeing roofless bus, extra length and high capacity bus, luxury bus, environmental friendly bus, and parts and other equipment specially used for bus, such as air conditioner and noise control system, etc.

每标准展位含1张洽谈桌、2把洽谈椅、1面楣板、2盏射灯、1个电源插座及1个废纸篓。空地不含以上设施。
The Basic Facilities of International standard booth: The name plate, printed with the company's name both in Chinese and, English 3-side enclosing board, 2 spotlights, 1 waste basket, 1 consultant's desk, 2 folding chairs, 15-A socket. Special Exhibition Hall don't have these Basic Facilities.
2、中心展不安排标准展位，实行整体特装制。原则上不同意企业参与，但属国内大型企业、行业知名企业或跨国公司，在企业申报后（申报标准不低于72平方米），经组委会审批，按以下标准对企业进行收费：
No standard booth will be arranged in the central exhibition zone. Instead, an overall special decorating system will be executed. Enterprises are not allowed to exhibit in this area, however, large-scale domestic enterprises, industry-leading enterprises, or multinational enterprises, may be allowed if they make an application (the applied exhibition area is no less than 72 square meters) and get the approval from the Organizing Committee. The following rate of charge will apply to such enterprises:
⑴、72㎡ 特装位（空地）：￥50000元/国企 $11000美元/外企
72㎡ special decorating zone (bare booth):
RMB50, 000/domestic enterprise US$11,000/foreign enterprise
⑵、90㎡ 特装位（空地）：￥63000元/国企 $14000美元/外企
90㎡ special decorating zone (bare booth):
RMB63, 000 /domestic enterprise US$14,000 /foreign enterprise
⑶、108㎡ 特装位（空地）: ￥88000元/国企 $16000美元/外企
