A temperature calibrator todayneeds to be versatile and meeta wide range of requirements. Itshould be an easily portable deviceto cope with frequently changingoperation locations, as in multipletest bays or in production locations.A calibrator should also be equallysuitable for stationary use in themeasurement lab or in testing andinspection. To meet these demands,these calibrators are lightweightand easy-to-use at each site. Fivetemperature calibrators are availableto cover the range from -35 to 650°C(-31 to 1202°F) and wet or drycalibration requirements.

Why Calibrate? Temperature sensorsare subject to mechanical, thermaland chemical stresses. This resultsin a drift the longer the sensors arein use. Only the regular calibrationof the sensors provides informationon the difference between the actualtemperature and the measuredtemperature and makes the specificdrift visible. This data can be criticalto maintaining a stable processoperation.OMEGA™ Dry block calibrators andmicro bath calibrators are one of thebest means to check and calibratea wide range of temperaturemeasuring instruments andtemperature sensors. Mechanical,electro-mechanical or electronicmeasurement equipment can bechecked with ease.
