      • The DP63100 analog process panelmeter offers many features andperformance capabilities to suit awide range of industrial applications.The DP63100 has a universal inputto handle various input signalsincluding DC voltage/current,process, resistance, strain andtemperature. The optional plug-inoutput cards allow the opportunity toconfigure the meter for presentapplications, while providing easyupgrades for future needs. TheDP63100 employs a dual line,tri-color display with a large 18 mm(0.71"), tri-color 6 digit top displayline and a 8.9 mm (0.35"), 9 digitgreen bottom display line. Themeter provides a MAX and MINreading memory with programmablecapture time. The capture time isused to prevent detection of falsemax or min readings which mayoccur during start-up or unusualprocess events.The signal totalizer(integrator) can be used to computea time-input product. This can beused to provide a readout oftotalized flow or calculate serviceintervals of motors, pumps, etc.
      The meter has up to four setpointoutputs, implemented on plug-inoption cards. The plug-in cardsprovide dual FORM-C relays, quadFORM-A, or either quad sinking orquad sourcing open collector logicoutputs. The setpoint alarms can beconfigured to suit a variety of controland alarm requirements.
      Communication and bus capabilitiesare also available as option cards.These include RS232 and RS485.The DP63100 can be programmedto utilize MODBUS® protocol. WithMODBUS, the user has access tomost configuration parameters.Readout values and setpoint alarmvalues can be controlled throughthe bus. Additionally, the meter hasa feature that allows a remotecomputer to directly control theoutputs of the meter. The DP63100includes a built-in USBprogramming port. With a Windows®based program, configuration datacan be downloaded to the unitwithout the need of any additionaloption cards. A linear DC outputsignal is available as an optionalplug-in card. The card provideseither 20 mA or 10V signals. Theoutput can be scaled independentof the input range and can trackeither the input, totalizer, max ormin readings. The meter has beenspecifically designed for harshindustrial environments. WithNEMA 4X (IP65) sealed bezel andextensive testing of noise effectsand CE requirements, the meterprovides a tough reliableapplication solution.
