      OMEGA™ pre-wired strain gages are availablein a variety of different models tocover most strain measurementapplications. The ruggedconstruction and flexibility make thesegeneral purpose strain gages suitable for static and dynamicmeasurement with a high degree ofaccuracy. The measuring grid isformed by etching Constantan foil,which is then completely sealed in acarrier medium composed ofpolyimide film. Either 2-wire or 3-wire termination styles are available with either 3-foot or 9-foot leads. Standard strain gauges have temperature coefficients matched to either steel of aluminum.
