      • The OMB-DBK9 is an eight-channelRTD (resistance temperature device)measurement card for OMEGA’sOMB-LOGBOOK, OMB-DAQBOOKand DAQBOARD data acquisitionsystems. The OMB-DBK9 supportsup to 8 channels of 3- or 4-wireRTD’s with resistances of 100, 500,or 1000 Ohm. RTD-type selection ismade via a jumper on the card thatconfigures all 8 channels.

      Excitation Sources. The OMB-DBK9provides bias for the RTD witheight constant current sourcesderived from the OMB-LOGBOOK,OMB-DAQBOOK or DAQBOARD’sinternal power supply.

      Input Amplifier. The OMB-DBK9’sinstrumentation amplifier providesboth a high and low resolution gainfor each of the standard RTD types.

      Software. Included software auto-maticallycontrols the OMB-DBK9 toeffortlessly supply you with correcttemperature measurements. Youneed only indicate which RTD type isattached to each channel. Thereafter,whenever a measurement isrequested from a channel, the entiremeasurement procedure includinglinearization occurs automatically.

      The data acquisition systems areshipped with several Windowsapplications including a dataloggingapplication that allows you to acquireRTD’s and other measurements viaa spreadsheet-style user interface.Also shipped is eZ-PostView, a post-acquisition application that permitsyou to display acquired datapreviously saved to a file.
